The University of Oxford, UK offers the Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Programme to international students. The scholarship is aimed to cultivates the leaders of tomorrow by providing outstanding university graduates and professionals from developing and emerging economies with the opportunity to pursue fully-funded graduate studies at the University.

University Overview

University of Oxford is a collegiate research university in Oxford, UK. It is one of the oldest university in United Kingdom and also one of the world’s leading academic institutions with 38 independent colleges and 6 permanent private halls. Benefits of Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships

The Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships is nourished with a comprehensive programmes of leadership development, long-term mentoring and networking. The scholarship will cover 100% of course fees and a grant for living costs (of at least £15,000). Awards are made for the full duration of your fee liability for the agreed course.

Eligibility Criteria

For success of the application for this scholarship, the interested student,

Must from the eligible country chosen for this scholarship application
Must be applying to start a new graduate course at Oxford.
Should be intending to return to your country of ordinary residence once your course is completed.
Should be able to demonstrate a connection between your subject of study and your longer-term career objectives
This scholarship is not open to applications from candidates who hold deferred offers to start in 2024-2025.

Application Procedure

Before applying for the scholarship, interested students are required to apply for an admission for a selected graduate course at the university. This is to be done by filling the University’s graduate application form and submit your application for graduate study by the relevant January deadline for your course. Upon completion of the admission form, you are required to complete a Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships Statement. This will be uploaded together with your graduate application form before the deadline.

Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarships in Germany

November 3, 2023Applications are hereby being welcomed for the Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarships in Germany. The scholarships are open to students from Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America who wish to pursue their Bachelor or Masters Degree program in Germany. A cash assistance of varying amounts will be awarded to successful applicants to support them in their studies. Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarships is part of DAAD scholarship for international students who are applying for a Postgraduate Degree studies in Germany. Each year up to 40 students are awarded FES sponsorships. Scholarship Value The Université Paris-Saclay scholarship is €10,000 per year. It is paid by the establishment the candidate is registered in for the duration of the academic year, and for a period of no less than 10 consecutive months per year (September to June). A maximum of €1,000 for travel and VISA expenses is also awarded depending on the candidate’s country of origin. Among these students, only those who answer one of the following criteria are eligible to apply: Newly arrived international students, aged 30 and less during the course of the selection year. Students of foreign nationality living on the French soil for less than a year, taking language classes (type FFL). Students who have lived in France in the past, within the framework of a mobility programme during their studies (e.g. Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degrees, exchange programme…) that did not lead to certification. How To Apply To be considered for the master scholarships, students must first be admitted to a Master’s Programme offered at Université Paris-Saclay.
