University of Duisburg-Essen Scholarships in Germany

The University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE), Germany offers the UDE-Scholarships for eligible candidates to pursue the Bachelor and Master degree program at the university. The aim of the scholarships is to provide financial and non-material support to the high-achieving and academically inclined students from all over the world applying to study at the university.

The University of Duisburg-Essen is one of the youngest and largest universities in Germany. It is a public university and well known in the international scientific community. Since 2003, the University has developed into a universally recognized research university and ranked #771-780 in QS World University Rankings 2024. It offers courses for undergraduate, graduates and PhD/ Research programs. The courses offered at the university ranges from humanities and social science, economics and business studies all the way to the engineering sciences and natural sciences (including medicine).

Benefits of the Scholarships

Financial aid of 300 euro per month will be awarded the qualified candidates. The funding is normally granted for at least two semesters but may be provided for a maximum time which covers the standard period of study.

Apart from the funding itself, scholarship holders have the chance to get into contact with donors, company representatives, and other scholarship holders.

Eligibility

Applicant must meet the following eligibility criteria:

All students who are properly enrolled at the University of Duisburg-Essen and are within their regular course duration are eligible to apply for the opportunity . Candidates must have been enrolled in the full-time bachelor and master degree program at the university.
Anyone who has fixed plans to study at the University of Duisburg-Essen in the upcoming winter semester beginning in October.

Application Procedure

To be considered for the opportunity applicants must have to take admission in bachelor and master degree program in their chosen subject at the University of Duisburg-Essen. After taking admission candidates can email hochschulfoerderung@uni-due.de to apply for the scholarships.
Supporting Documents: Applicants need to submit personal data, curriculum vitae, information regarding your studies at UDE, average grades, letter of motivation, optional information on personal background.

Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarships in Germany

The scholarships are open to students from Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America who wish to pursue their Bachelor or Masters Degree program in Germany. A cash assistance of varying amounts will be awarded to successful applicants to support them in their studies. Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarships is part of DAAD scholarship for international students who are applying for a Postgraduate Degree studies in Germany.
