UCL Global Masters Scholarship 2024/25

University College London, UK offers international students its Global Masters Scholarship. The scholarship is aimed towards students from developing countries who cannot afford studies in an international university. The UCL Global Masters Scholarship is for the 2024 – 2025 academic session.

University Overview

The University College London (UCL) is widely known as the London’s Global University. It is a member of the elite Russell Group of UK universities and is also part of the League of European Research Universities, a consortium of European research universities that seek to influence policy in Europe and to develop best practices through mutual exchange of experience. UCL offers over 650 UCL master’s programmes and 500 undergraduate degrees on various course types.

The University major aim is in promoting the idea of education for global citizenship. This is achieved by making sure students are given the freedom and encouragement to explore ideas from different cultural perspectives while working on projects of international importance. UCL is consistently ranked as one of the top ten universities in the world. Currently is is ranked #9 in QS World University Rankings 2024.

Level of Study: Masters degree in all postgraduate programme offered at the university.

Benefit of the Scholarship

The scholarship worth the sum of £15,000 offered for one year. It covers the tuition fee and study allowance.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicant must complete and submit an admission application for a full-time Master’s degree to the university.
Must be from a developing country.
Be eligible to pay Oversea fee rate.
Must posses a good academic records and research abilities.
Must have obtained a bachelor’s degree from an internationally recognised university.

Application Procedures

To apply for the scholarship, interested students are to submit an offer of admission to the university for a master programme. The deadline for applications will be at 5pm BST, Tuesday 7 May 2024. Successful candidates will be notified as soon as decisions are made, typically by late June.

Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarships in Germany

November 3, 2023Applications are hereby being welcomed for the Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarships in Germany. The scholarships are open to students from Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America who wish to pursue their Bachelor or Masters Degree program in Germany. A cash assistance of varying amounts will be awarded to successful applicants to support them in their studies. Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarships is part of DAAD scholarship for international students who are applying for a Postgraduate Degree studies in Germany. Each year up to 40 students are awarded FES sponsorships. They are paid a monthly amount of EUR 750 in Bachelor’s, Diploma, Magister, state examination programmes or EUR 850 or, respectively, when doing a Master’s course.
