UCD Merit-Based Scholarships in Dublin Ireland

The University College Dublin, in partnership with Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, offers the UCD Merit-Based Scholarships to international students. The scholarship will be awarded to an academically exceptional student who has demonstrated leadership and impact achievements in their career to date.

University College Dublin (UCD) is one of the leading research universities in Europe. It is a member institution of the National University of Ireland and house up to 38,417 students making it Ireland’s largest university. The University has world-leading facilities which are as follows:

Generally, the scholarships covers either 50% or 100% of the tuition fees with provision of study allowance.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicant must come from any of the eligible country.
Must have an outstanding academic performance.
Must demonstrate great leadership qualities.
Must be fluent in English Language.

Application Procedure

Interested applicant are to first enroll for MBA or other eligible MSc programme at the university. In most cases, there is no separate application process for this scholarship. All successful applicants for the MBA full-time are automatically considered. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. The scholarship may be awarded prior to the closing date to an exceptional candidate. Early application is recommended.

Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarships in Germany

November 3, 2023Applications are hereby being welcomed for the Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarships in Germany. The scholarships are open to students from Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America who wish to pursue their Bachelor or Masters Degree program in Germany. A cash assistance of varying amounts will be awarded to successful applicants to support them in their studies. Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarships is part of DAAD scholarship for international students who are applying for a Postgraduate Degree studies in Germany. Each year up to 40 students are awarded FES sponsorships. They are paid a monthly amount of EUR 750 in Bachelor’s, Diploma, Magister, state examination programmes or EUR 850 or, respectively, when doing a Master’s course. Scholarship Value The Université Paris-Saclay scholarship is €10,000 per year. It is paid by the establishment the candidate is registered in for the duration of the academic year, and for a period of no less than 10 consecutive months per year (September to June). A maximum of €1,000 for travel and VISA expenses is also awarded depending on the candidate’s country of origin. Among these students, only those who answer one of the following criteria are eligible to apply: Newly arrived international students, aged 30 and less during the course of the selection year. Students of foreign nationality living on the French soil for less than a year, previously or currently enrolled in a training course or internship that does not lead to certification. Students of foreign nationality living on the French soil for less than a year, taking language classes (type FFL). Students who have lived in France in the past, within the framework of a mobility programme during their studies (e.g. Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degrees, exchange programme…) that did not lead to certification. How To Apply To be considered for the master scholarships, students must first be admitted to a Master’s Programme offered at Université Paris-Saclay.
