Turkey Scholarships by Government of Turkey

Turkey Scholarships is now available for international students and researchers who wish to pursue a degree programme in any universities in Turkey for the 2023 – 2024 academic year. Generally known as the Türkiye Scholarships, its aim is to attract and provide equal opportunities to successful students around the world in order to receive them.

Overview of the Scholarship

Türkiye Scholarships is a government-funded higher education scholarship programme run by the Republic of Türkiye for international students. The scholarship has been for many years and is a Higher education scholarship programs provided by Turkey Government. Türkiye Scholarships are carried out in cooperation with all relevant institutions and bodies such as YÖK, Yurt – Kur, General Directorate of Migration Management and Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It provides international students with the opportunity to study and receive scholarships at the most prestigious universities in Turkey.

Level of Study: Undergraduate, Masters and PhD degree programme in any eligible course.

Eligible Courses: All courses including Biotechnology, Engineering, Computer Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Food Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine.

Benefits of the Türkiye Scholarships

It provides university and department for the successful applicants.
The scholarships covers the tuition fees.
Provides accommodation for the students who are not Turkish.
Support travelling expenses by providing your once-off flight ticket for journey to Turkey and when you return to your country at the end of your education period.
Provides Turkish Language learning opportunity for easy adaptability to Turkish culture.
Provides health Insurance.
Offers a monthly stipend of 1700 TL at undergraduate level, 2400 TL at Master’s level and 3000 TL at PhD level.

Eligibility Criteria

Citizenship: The scholarship is for all students from around the world but not for students who are Turkish citizen.
Academic Qualification: Must posses a good academic record. Every degree programme level been taken care of by the scholarship demands a exceptional academic records. Minimum Academic Achievement are as follows:
- For undergraduate candidates: 70%
- For graduate candidates: 75%
- For candidates of Health Sciences (Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy): 90%

Enrolled Students in any Turkish Universities are also eligible to apply the scholarship.

How To Apply

Applicant are to proceed to the official website for application for the Turkey Scholarships. Students are required to create Scholarship Application Account where they fill in their personal information and upload the required documents. The following documents are required during the application:

English Language Proficiency Certificate
A Proof of Identity – A copy of a valid ID card of Passport
academic Certificates
Research Proposal for graduate and PhD applicants
Statement of Purpose (SOP)
Recommendation Letters – two recommendation letters from previous professors.

Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarships in Germany

November 3, 2023Applications are hereby being welcomed for the Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarships in Germany. The scholarships are open to students from Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America who wish to pursue their Bachelor or Masters Degree program in Germany. A cash assistance of varying amounts will be awarded to successful applicants to support them in their studies. Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarships is part of DAAD scholarship for international students who are applying for a Postgraduate Degree studies in Germany. Each year up to 40 students are awarded FES sponsorships. Scholarship Value The Université Paris-Saclay scholarship is €10,000 per year. It is paid by the establishment the candidate is registered in for the duration of the academic year, and for a period of no less than 10 consecutive months per year (September to June). A maximum of €1,000 for travel and VISA expenses is also awarded depending on the candidate’s country of origin. Among these students, only those who answer one of the following criteria are eligible to apply: Newly arrived international students, aged 30 and less during the course of the selection year. Students of foreign nationality living on the French soil for less than a year, previously or currently enrolled in a training course or internship that does not lead to certification. Students of foreign nationality living on the French soil for less than a year, taking language classes (type FFL). Students who have lived in France in the past, within the framework of a mobility programme during their studies (e.g. Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degrees, exchange programme…) that did not lead to certification. How To Apply To be considered for the master scholarships, students must first be admitted to a Master’s Programme offered at Université Paris-Saclay.
