Schwarzman Scholars Program is created to build scholars into becoming a leader and forming global relationship to the challenges of the 21st century. The program supports up to 200 Scholars annually from United States, China, and students from around the globe for a one year master’s in global affairs at Tsinghua University Beijing China.
Selected scholars will be living in Beijing for a year of study and cultural immersion through attending lectures, traveling around the region, and developing a better understanding of China.
Level of Study: Master Degree in Global Affairs studies – Public Policy, Economic and Business, International Studies.

Scholarship Value
The scholarship awarded will cover tuition fees, travel and living allowances. It will also cover transportation cost for travels to and from Beijing at the beginning and end of the academic year, and as well as in-country study tour.
Also, Scholars graduate with a valuable set of cross-cultural leadership skills, a diverse and meaningful network of leaders and career-defining learning experiences.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must have completed their undergraduate degrees prior to application.
- Must be able to demonstrate an excellent academic record.
- Be able to show readiness to embrace other cultures and perspectives.
- Be able to drive global progress and lead with integrity.
- Must be highly proficient in English.
