Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, applicant must

Be enrolled or accepted in a first year Masters or first or second year Doctoral studies in 2023-2024 academic year.
Must have a good academic record as scholarship is awarded on merit basis.
Students who received the scholarship in the past are not eligible to apply again.

Application Procedure

The first step toward the application for the scholarship is to apply for an admission for a full-time study program for a graduate degree. When offered an admission, candidate will proceed forth to the scholarship application.

Note the following criteria will be used by the committee to decide the scholarship recipients:

Publications (depending of the level of advancement)

Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarships in Germany

The scholarships are open to students from Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America who wish to pursue their Bachelor or Masters Degree program in Germany. A cash assistance of varying amounts will be awarded to successful applicants to support them in their studies. Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarships is part of DAAD scholarship for international students who are applying for a Postgraduate Degree studies in Germany. Scholarship Value The Université Paris-Saclay scholarship is €10,000 per year. It is paid by the establishment the candidate is registered in for the duration of the academic year, and for a period of no less than 10 consecutive months per year (September to June). A maximum of €1,000 for travel and VISA expenses is also awarded depending on the candidate’s country of origin. Among these students, only those who answer one of the following criteria are eligible to apply: Newly arrived international students, aged 30 and less during the course of the selection year. Students of foreign nationality living on the French soil for less than a year, taking language classes (type FFL). Students who have lived in France in the past, within the framework of a mobility programme during their studies (e.g. Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degrees, exchange programme…) that did not lead to certification.
