International Postgraduate Merit Scholarships: The University of Sheffield, UK Scholarships are offered to both domestic and international students. The scholarships aim to support academically outstanding student who are in need of fund to further their studies.

University Overview

University of Sheffield, UK research university in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. It Sheffield ranks among the top 10 of UK universities for research grant funding. According to data published by Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), University of Sheffield, UK number one in the UK for income and investment in engineering research. Thus, it is currently the lead institution for systems engineering, smart materials and stem cell technology in a network of research universities around the world.

Academic Excellence is at core at University of Sheffield, UK. They offer 206 Undergraduate programs and 537 Postgraduate programs in several courses of study. Scholarship Value

The merit scholarship can be provided for a maximum of 2 full-time academic years. The scholarship will be applied as a tuition fee discount only. Generally, each scholarship worth £5,000 channeled towards the original tuition fee for a postgraduate taught programme.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicant must hold an offer to study at the University of Sheffield.
Distance learning courses are ineligible for a merit scholarship.
All Crossways courses and Erasmus Mundus courses are ineligible for a merit scholarship.
Applicant must be self-funded and required to pay the overseas tuition fee.
Anyone studying a Masters/integrated PhD programme is eligible for a merit scholarship in the Masters element of the programme only.
Applicant must a strong academic records.

How To Apply

Applicant are required to first apply for Master in any eligible postgraduate taught programme at the university. When offered an admission into the university, applicant can proceed to apply for the scholarship. A panel of senior members of staff will select the strongest applications based on the selection criteria.

Clarendon Scholarship at University of Oxford

Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarships in Germany

November 3, 2023Applications are hereby being welcomed for the Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarships in Germany. The scholarships are open to students from Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America who wish to pursue their Bachelor or Masters Degree program in Germany. A cash assistance of varying amounts will be awarded to successful applicants to support them in their studies. Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarships is part of DAAD scholarship for international students who are applying for a Postgraduate Degree studies in Germany. Each year up to 40 students are awarded FES sponsorships. They are paid a monthly amount of EUR 750 in Bachelor’s, Diploma, Magister, state examination programmes or EUR 850 or, respectively, when doing a Master’s course. Scholarship Value The Université Paris-Saclay scholarship is €10,000 per year. It is paid by the establishment the candidate is registered in for the duration of the academic year, and for a period of no less than 10 consecutive months per year (September to June). A maximum of €1,000 for travel and VISA expenses is also awarded depending on the candidate’s country of origin. Among these students, only those who answer one of the following criteria are eligible to apply: Newly arrived international students, aged 30 and less during the course of the selection year.
