Carl Duisberg Medicine Scholarships

Carl Duisberg Medicine scholarships is open to students specialising in human and veterinary medicine undergoing a clinical training or in their practice year who would like to be part of scientific projects. The scholarship is offered through Bayer Foundation.

Focused Area of Practice

Key support areas are projects focusing on public health and social aspects and projects associated with the fields of:

  • Cardiology
  • Oncology
  • Inflammation
  • Gynecology
  • Diagnostic Imaging

Eligibility Criteria

  • The foundation places great emphasis on internationalism, and therefore grants scholarships exclusively to students from German-speaking countries wishing to study abroad and foreign applicants who want to study in Germany.
  • Applicants should be able to show excellence in final school marks as well as a particularly successful pre-clinical test.
  • On the other hand, a broad horizon and a high level of motivation and personal commitment are required of all applicants – be it in a social, political or cultural field.

How to Apply

The application period for the Carl Duisberg Scholarships in medicine will be from June 1 until July 31. The scholarships is offered annually and normally kicks-off at the aforementioned date.
